THE SWITCH TO DIGITAL TELEVISION IS

Were you ready for the switch to digital television on June 12, 2009? On that
date, broadcasters no longer were able to send their signal on an analog system.

What does this mean to you? If you have rabbit ears or an outside antenna
you will no longer be able to get over-the air channels such as Channels 6, 10, and 12.

Persons who have cable television or a direct television system did not have to do
anything. Your television systems will work as they always have.

Persons who do not subscribe to cable or direct television and did not purchase a converter box, will need to do so. They are still available. These converters cost about $70 and are available in most stores that sell televisions or electronics. You will need to install this box on your television.
